Effective July 9, 2026
Vocalume is built so that your voice and your words stay yours. This policy explains, plainly, what the app does and does not do with your information.
Vocalume does not collect, store, sell, or transmit your personal information or your speech. There is no account to create. Everything the app needs to work happens on your device.
Vocalume speaks in a voice built from Apple Personal Voice, which is created and stored entirely on your device by Apple. Vocalume uses it only with your permission. Your voice model never leaves your device and is never uploaded to us or anyone else.
When you speak, Vocalume uses the microphone and Apple's speech recognition to turn your speech into text so it can be spoken back clearly. This audio is processed transiently to recognize what you said and is never stored by Vocalume and never used to train any model.
None that identifies you. Vocalume has no login, no advertising, and does not include third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. We do not build a profile of you.
Vocalume is a general-audience communication tool and is not directed at children under 13.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date.
